All the inside jokes, all that you’ve been through together, all the laughs and tears and hugs. It’s time to capture this moment forever. Our photos have a power like nothing else as the days, seasons and years pass by. Let’s make that vision of a family portrait that you’ve had in your head finally become a reality.
There is a lot to think about, but as a family photographer, it’s my pleasure to guide you through it. You’ll tell me what you want from the session – your ideas, your style and the types of pictures you desire.
Location & Wardrobe Planning
We’ll pick a place that feels good to your family, so you can enjoy some time in each other’s company. It could be your favorite park, on the streets of your hometown or in your own backyard. There are also many beautiful areas that you may never have considered. As a Philadelphia family photographer, I know of lots of great locations to suggest.
If you need help deciding on outfits, there are many tips for that. It’s a lot less complicated than you may think. I have a what to wear guide to help you and we’ll also talk about ideas when we plan your session.
Family Session
Once the session starts, your job is over. I will help create an atmosphere where you can relax with your family so that we can discover your true personalities through my lens. In fact, I want this to be a day that becomes a fond memory of a time when you were able to slow down to focus on each other. Family portrait photography sessions are, actually, fun! You’ll get the shots you’re looking for, to highlight all the special relationships and the goofy, tender and feisty interactions.
About two weeks later, we’ll meet to view the final result – the photos! You’ll make your choices and decide what you’d like to order such as prints, art, albums or digital. Within a month, the portraits will be delivered right to your door. You will have the beautiful images of your family to share and treasure for years to come. I can’t wait to get started!
Pricing & Packages
The session fee for family sessions is $595 and includes a $390 credit for your portrait order, a planning consultation over the phone or in your home, a 45-60 minute long fully customized photo session at the location of your choice, and a design consultation and ordering appointment via an online meeting held via Zoom.
All photographic prints, wall art and albums are purchased a la carte at your ordering appointment. All purchased products include the matching high resolution digital file for your safe keeping and use. We can discuss your budget and pricing of the products and art in which you are interested for your family portrait session.
