How my clients brought light & love to my 2020...

When the Covid pandemic brought everything to a halt in March last year, I was honestly wondering if the whole year would be feel like nothing but a whole lot of loss. I truly love working with all of my clients. I love all the different types of sessions I typically get to hold in a year. Most years I divide my time between working with families, high school seniors, dancers and professionals as well as at dance school performances and small events. As the year went on and everyone started to figure out new ways to keep on doing what they love, I realized that in spite of the pandemic, my year would be one still full of opportunities to serve through my work. Many of those opportunities looked different than in past years. Some of them were, unfortunately, lost. A few others were actually found because of the pandemic.

Reflecting on it now, I feel so very thankful to have been able to resume photographing my beautiful clients through the second half of 2020 and now on into the new year. I want to take this time to thank all of my wonderful clients from 2020.

• Thank you for trusting me to capture who you are in your portraits.
• Thank you for dusting off your nice clothes for your session, after they sat untouched for months in the closet.
• Thank you for being patient with me when I said "let's do one more!" again, and again.
• Thank you for telling me stories about your own experiences over the last several months.
• Thank you for giving your little sister a piggy back ride through the park.
• Thank you for fixing my flat tire.
• Thank you for talking about rockets with me.
• Thank you for introducing me to your pets.
• Thank you for offering to carry my heavy gear.
• Thank you for referring me to your friends.
• Thank you for hanging your portraits on your walls at home.
• Thank you for laughing and playing and bringing a smile to my heart.
• Thank you for sharing your most precious things with me - your families and your time.
• Thank you for being so amazing.
